"What is Dissociative Identity Disorder?"
DID is a system disorder which are called "Alters" or "Headmates (HM)", this involves "switching" to other identities, alters have different names, history, appearances etc. Though I cannot fully control who is fronting & speaking, no, I do not use my alters as an excuse, because I really cannot control them.
These are my current known alters/headmates;
